Abstract:
AIM: Danone is committed to reaching 30% women among executives by 2020. At the end of 2019, this indicator reached 27%. ACTIVITY:Danone is aware that the diversity of management teams improves the company's performance. The company recognizes that women often face obstacles as they move up the career ladder. To help them on their way, Danone has set up the EVE seminar especially for businesswomen. Created in 2010 with other companies, EVE is a women's leadership seminar designed to empower strong and inspiring women to lead change within the organization. The proportion of female leaders at Danone increased in 2018, 50% compared to 49% in 2017, for the scope of social indicators. Danone achieved these results mainly through the following measures: • Clear development plan for all talents, men and women • Improvement of the talent assessment process, with clear analysis of data on gender balance at different levels and functions, as well as the introduction of methodologies in which bias is minimized in the assessment process • Focus on the development of female talents, such as mentoring and visibility programs • Implementation of a comprehensive parental policy (see more explanation below) • Measures promoting flexible working hours for men and women • Equal pay • Support for women through ad hoc training programs (Women in Leadership), networking (EVE seminar, EVE blog, etc.) and mentoring (Eve2Eve) • Inclusion of men in the approach to diversity (participation in the EVE and HeforShe seminars) TARGET GROUP.
