Promoter Information:
Abstract:
Air France is committed to achieving 35% female representation on its management committees by 2027 and 40% by 2030. This ambitious goal is part of the "Air France Agreement on Professional Equality Between Women and Men - 2022-2024," which focuses on providing women with access to high-level leadership and decision-making roles within the company. To support women’s professional growth and ensure their progression into top leadership positions, Air France has implemented several coaching and mentorship programs designed to cultivate female talent and strengthen gender equality across all levels of the organization. As of today, Air France has made significant strides toward achieving gender diversity in leadership, with 35.5% of women in management among ground staff, 55.5% women on the Board of Directors, and 28.6% women on the Executive Committee. These figures underscore the company’s commitment to building a diverse and inclusive leadership structure. Key Initiatives and Achievements: Gender Parity Goals: Air France has set clear targets to ensure female representation in leadership, aiming for 35% on management committees by 2027 and 40% by 2030. These goals are supported by strategic measures to provide women with the opportunities and support needed to reach top leadership positions. Coaching and Support Programs: Air France implements tailored programs, including coaching and mentoring initiatives, to support women’s career advancement. These programs are designed to prepare women for higher levels of responsibility and empower them to navigate the challenges of leadership roles. Commitment to Equality: In line with its commitment to transparency, Air France published its professional equality index on March 1, 2021, scoring 89 out of 100. This index reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to comply with legal requirements and promote gender equality in all aspects of its operations. Three-Year Gender Equality Agreement: In 2018, Air France signed its fifth three-year agreement with social partners, reinforcing its commitment to gender equality in the workplace. This agreement includes concrete actions aimed at addressing the gender gap and promoting a more balanced representation of women across the company. "Women for Tomorrow" (WoTo) Network: To foster a culture of coeducation and gender equality, Air France supports the "Women for Tomorrow" (WoTo) network. WoTo provides a platform for exchanges, workshops, debates, and meetings focused on promoting women’s roles within the company. The network strengthens female representation and leadership by creating a supportive environment where women can share experiences, learn from one another, and develop professionally. Key Outcomes: 35.5% of women in management among ground staff. 55.5% of women on the Board of Directors. 28.6% of women on the Executive Committee.
