Abstract:
Science is a woman - women of science for women of the Silesian Voivodship This unique event was organized on the occasion of Women's Day. Scientists from universities of the European City of Science Katowice 2024 met with residents of the region to discuss challenges and inspire each other. The plan includes a debate with outstanding female scientists from the Silesian Voivodship on the contemporary understanding of success and challenges faced by women implementing their own ambitious projects. The program includes lectures and presentations by women for women. Scientists associated with Silesian universities presented in an interesting way the issues they deal with on a daily basis and which will interest the participants of the event.
