Abstract:
The Association supports the development of initiatives aimed at stimulating the participation of women in all spheres of public life and including socio-gender aspects in political priorities; it defends women's equal rights and participation in politics, equality in leadership, governance and decision-making at high levels. The Association helps women take leadership roles. The organization was an umbrella organization of the 27 local women's organisations. It was founded as a reply to the limitations of women's education and access to university studies, with the goal to further women's intellectual development and participation.
