Abstract:
Matej Bel University, a public Univeristy in Slovakia, participates in the EU Horizon project named "Gender Action Plus" with the objective of contribute in promoting gender equality in the European Research Area (ERA) through the following steps: - skills development; - policy exchange; - provision of strategic policy advices. The expected activities include: - the creation of a base of indicators for monitoring the implementation of inclusive gender equality policies at the national level (presented through a dashboard on the project website); - the develop of a system for monitoring and evaluating the implementation and impact of Gender Equality Plans in order to support institutional change as the main instrument to promote inclusive gender equality in the new ERA. The project outputs are: - policy mapping and benchmarking; - strategic policy advice; - mutual learning and capacity building; - engagement of stakeholders and ERA citizens.
