Abstract:
The Possible solutions to tackling domestic violence were outlined, showcasing good practice from Bulgaria, with a focus on the 'coordinated community response' model. The scale of the problem that millions of women and children around the world and in our country struggle with every day has been highlighted. Human Rights Ombudsman for Prof. Dr. Kovacheva and other experts outlined the need for improvements in Bulgarian legislation. Improvements in the law will affect the position of women's role in the family or company. Raising awareness of the role of women and equal treatment is very important in the aspect of violence.
