Abstract:
In Portugal, Law 62/2017, August 1st, determined the mandatory elaboration of a Plan for Gender Equality by companies listed on the stock exchange, similarly to what was already determined for entities in the business sector of State.This Plan, targeted to women and men employees of CTT, embodies Article 7 - 1 of the aforementioned Law: “The entities of the public sector and companies listed on the stock exchange annually prepare plans for equality with a view to achieving effective equality of treatment and opportunities for women and men. men, promoting the elimination of discrimination based on sex and encouraging the reconciliation of personal, family and professional life, and should publish them on the respective website. With the implementation of this Plan, CTT intends to assert itself as a company that values the diversity of cultures, gender and ages, which includes people with diverse profiles, knowledge and curriculum areas in their different geographies. Believing that this diversity enriches the organization, stimulates creativity, innovation and contributes to the strengthening of human potential. In this way, greater quality is expected in the decision-making processes, enhancing the creation of value for stakeholders.
