Abstract:

The establishment of the National Observatory for the Integration of Gender Policies, chaired by Minister Elena Bonetti, is one of the measures envisaged by the 2022 Budget Law: the Observatory is a technical body which institutionalised the adoption by the Government of a National Strategy for Gender Equality, and defined a dedicated governance system that gives voice to various components – institutions, associations and social partners – committed to promoting gender equality in terms of leadership positions and women's empowerment (DECREE 22 february 2022 Creation of the National Observatory for integrating policies in the field of equal opportunities (22A01988) (GU Serie Generale n. 75 del 30-03-2022).
