  • Abstract:

AUS-NZ Croatian Women in Leadership consists of a group of women of Croatian heritage. The organization's target groups are Croatian women of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in leadership and personal development, including young women, mid-career professionals, senior executives, and Croatian women in the wider community. It represents several groups and businesses across Australia and New Zealand, including Croatian entrepreneurs, female professionals, small business owners, women in the workforce, students, and recent graduates. They run regular meetings, workshops, and events; facilitate business networking, idea-sharing and personal development with the aim of generating greater business success for members. It is, therefore, an initiative link to the promotion of women’s economic power. Specifically, they offer a mentoring program designed to provide support and guidance to Croatian women who are looking to further their personal or professional goals. The program pairs experienced mentors with mentees who are seeking guidance and advice in a particular area of their life. The mentors in this program are successful Croatian women from a range of backgrounds and industries, including business, academia, and government. They are selected for their expertise, experience, and commitment to empowering women. The program is open to women of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. The mentoring program is offered on a voluntary basis and is free of charge. Mentors and mentees are expected to meet on a regular basis to discuss the mentee's goals and progress, and to provide support and guidance as needed.
