Abstract:
The Gender Equality Festival is an awareness campaign addressed primarily to young people to help them become familiar with concepts such as human rights and women’s rights and to see beyond stereotypes and prejudices. This is related to the visibility of women on the social power domain, because it work for awareness to change the reality focusing on the citizens and the changes they can do. This is an annual campaign that brings closer to the community a positive alternative to unequal power relations that produce injustice, abuse and discrimination, organized by the A.L.E.G. Association. (www.aleg-romania.eu). This year the festival is supported by Global Fund for Children and Fondation de France. COST: --
