    This literature item aims to show the situation of romanian women in the political representation in the European Parliament elections. So they made an analysis report. These documents are relevant to understand and become aware of the reality of female presence in politics, their presence in decision-making, and their political power. For example, with this document we can see that although the participation of women on the electoral lists was 30.96% from political parties and 57.14% from independent candidates, the 21.88% of MEPs were women. Compared to the European Parliament elections held in 2014, the percentage of women elected decreased by 12.5 percentage points (21.88% in 2019 compared to 34.38% in 2014).
