Abstract:
The literature item is about the Gender Equality Plan adopted in Austria and the main results achieved. Strengthening women in leadership positions in the economic, political and public sectors is a high priority in Austria, especially as women are still underrepresented compared to their share of the population. The long-term goal is equal representation of women and men at all levels. The report includes the analyzes of Women in leadership positions in state-affiliated companies, Women in leadership positions in the public sector and Women in leadership positions n the private sector, It also integrates an analysis of the participation of Women in Political representation.
