Abstract:
This document outlines a plan to promote women's entrepreneurship in Croatia over a six-year period. It is therefore an initiative linked to the promotion of women’s economic power. The strategy is based on the recognition that women entrepreneurs in Croatia face specific challenges that can limit their growth and success, including cultural and social barriers, lack of access to financing and resources, and gender stereotypes. To address these challenges, the strategy sets out a number of goals and objectives, including: Increasing the number of women entrepreneurs in Croatia through targeted outreach and support programs; Improving access to financing and resources for women entrepreneurs, including through the creation of specialized financial products and services; Addressing cultural and social barriers by promoting a more inclusive business culture and working to eliminate gender stereotypes; Encouraging the development of women-led businesses in high-growth sectors such as technology, science, and innovation; Promoting networking and collaboration among women entrepreneurs in Croatia and providing them with opportunities for skills development and training.
