Abstract:

This project, led by CESI in collaboration with the Women's Association HERA Križevci and the Civil Society Support and Development Center “DELFIN”, aims to enhance the capacity of partner organizations in Zagreb, Koprivnica Križevčka County, Požega Slavonia County, and Krapina Zagorje County for delivering social services. It focuses on education, capacity building, networking, and the promotion of social service delivery. A nine-day training program for 20 participants has been conducted to improve mentoring skills and capacity building, complemented by a two-day Business Coaching training. This initiative led to the formation of a mentoring network to support the program's end-users. Additionally, CESI offers a BADGE Program for women entrepreneurs, comprising 4 modules/workshops aimed at aiding long-term unemployed women in starting their businesses or enhancing their job search efforts. An assessment of social services in the four counties has been made, with recommendations for county-level partnerships. The BADGE education program involves 90 participants, who will receive mentoring from the newly established network. The project also continues to offer legal and advisory services on labor and social rights via the Radnica.org portal, highlighting workplace discrimination and using portal testimonials for advocacy. A final conference will present the project outcomes to stakeholders, including ministry representatives, local authorities, and the media. The project's total value is HRK 592,754.16, co-financed by the EU from the European Social Fund and the Cabinet of Associations through national co-financing.
