Abstract:
The general objective of the Medrando Xuntas program is to offer comprehensive training from the perspective of gender, in order to enhance the management capacities of participating women as a key factor in their subsequent professional development. The offer training and networking forums to: - Improve the knowledge and personal skills of Galician women that are linked to entities of the social economy, to promote a professional development within their organizations. Increase the presence of women in decision-making bodies in social economy entities. - Create a community of women active in promoting the social economy in Galicia and the role of women in it. - Promote the meeting between women members of the social economy to talk about the motivations, difficulties and opportunities that find in their professional development. - Encourage joint reflection between students and teachers on a social economy and the role women play in it.
