Abstract:
This aims to promote the development of equality policies and respond to the new responsibilities that all companies have in this matter, the Women´s Institute puts at your disposal this new tool with which it intends to contribute to generating knowledge and a specific methodology for the preparation and implementation of equality plans in line with the applicable regulations: - Organic Law 3/2007, of March 22, for the effective equality of women and men. - Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23, which approves the Consolidated text of the Workers' Statute Law. - Royal Decree-Law 6/2019, of March 1, on urgent measures to guarantee of equal treatment and opportunities between women and men in the employment and occupation. - Royal Decree 901/2020, of October 13, which regulates the plans of equality and its registration and modifies Royal Decree 713/2010, of May 28, on registration and deposit of agreements and collective labor agreements. - Royal Decree 902/2020, of October 13, on equal pay between women and men. This is related to the economic power of women, because it is focused on making changes in companies to be more equal and have more women in decision-making. In fact, the Guide is articulated around two large blocks, one theoretical in which the negotiation procedure and elaboration of the plan of equality, as well as its monitoring and evaluation, and a practical one, which offers Guide for the elaboration of equality plans in companies tools and models that can be downloaded and adapted to the structure and needs of different companies. It implements different phases: Phase 1. Implementation of the process of preparation of the equality plan: communication and opening of the negotiation and constitution of the commission negotiator. Phase 2. Carrying out the diagnosis: collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to know the degree of integration of equality between women and men in the company. Phase 3. Design, approval and registration of the plan equality: definition of objectives, design of measures, establishment of monitoring and evaluation indicators, schedule of application, approval and registration of the plan. Phase 4. Implementation and monitoring of the plan equality: verification of the degree of development and compliance with the measures and assessment of results. Phase 5. Evaluation of the equality plan: assessment of the degree of achievement of objectives, results and impact who has had the plan in the company.
