Abstract:
The Emega program includes a set of aid aimed at supporting the start-up, improvement and reactivation of business initiatives set up by women, together with complementary measures to favor the reconciliation of personal, family and work life, as well as access to specific business information, advisory and guidance services in order to facilitate the implementation and consolidation of business projects promoted by women. The Emega program includes the following help lines: a) Emprende Line: line of economic aid through incentives to promote the start-up of new business initiatives and the creation of stable female employment on their own account and for others. b) Active Line: line of economic aid through incentives to favor the reactivation, consolidation of companies constituted by women, or the implementation of innovative measures to improve competitiveness, through measures for renewal, implementation, expansion or change of location of the activity aimed at alleviating an adverse economic situation, and that are necessary for the maintenance of self-employment and employment, as well as to achieve the necessary business balance and ensure its survival, consolidation and improvement, in the current context economic situation, a context that was aggravated by the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. Said measures may not suppose, in any case, destruction of existing employment for their own account or for others. c) ITEF Line: line of economic aid through incentives to promote the implementation of business initiatives of an innovative nature, with scientific or technological content, promoted by women and that involve the creation of stable female employment for their own account and for others. d) Concilia Line: complementary help from the Emprende, Activa and ITEF lines to promote the reconciliation of personal, family and work life, in its two modalities: Concilia-promoters and Concilia-employee workers.
