Abstract:
The School of Entrepreneurs and Businesswomen of Asturias (EEEA) is an initiative aimed at reactivate the Asturian economy, job creation and the full integration of women in the workplace and business. The project includes the construction of the EEEA, the endowment of resources and the development of their actions. The essential objective of the project has been the construction of the 1,500m2 school in Avilés, whicH has the vocation of establishing itself as a reference center and novel experience of Motivation, training and advice to entrepreneurs and businesswomen. This goal will unfolds into various specific objectives: - Promote the entrepreneurial culture among women, through direct actions of revitalization, motivation and recruitment of entrepreneurs. - Cooperate with all instruments and services to support the development and promotion of entrepreneurial culture to introduce the gender perspective and meet the needs of entrepreneurs and businesswomen in the different areas of business activity, through training and the development of teaching materials. - Develop training programs that cover all stages of entrepreneurship: from the generation of business ideas, technical training – practical before and during the creation of the business, and training for business consolidation and growth, with special incidence in the formation of management skills, leadership and empowerment of the women entrepreneurs and managers. - Advise the start-up processes of the business idea, in cooperation with the territorial services: Network of Business Centers, Network of Local Development Agents, Network of SAT Centers, etc. - Support the processes of consolidation and growth, through mentoring and the creation of business collaboration networks.
