Abstract:
This MSc work is both a literature item, but a good practice for the conception/discussion of good practices regarding human resource management and gender equality. Its main objective is to analyze the influence of measures adopted by organizations in the promotion of gender equality in management and leadership positions, as well as to identify and systematize good practices that enhance this promotion. A qualitative methodological approach was chosen, based on content analysis of documents, in order to identify, collect and analyze good practices in the promotion of gender equality in management and leadership positions in organizations, both internationally and nationally, and on semi-structured individual interviews with key informants in order to complement the information gathered, followed by the respective content analysis. We can consider, from the perspective of a Portuguese academic work, the impact of these discussions.
