Abstract:
This programme wants to support women that are working in political representation to work with them on key areas that women tell us they need help to build Confidence, Communication and Campaigns. In fact, it is related to political power because it wants to improve the skills of women who are or will work in political representation. It costs 50 euros for each participant, and for that, they offer a 1 day formation for women who want to see a change in their community, but are not sure where to begin, for those who are looking to develop the skills needed to kick start a political journey and those ones who would like to learn about the realities of political life from the experts and those with first-hand experiences. As a matter of fact, this is intended for today’s local councillors, TD’s, Senators and MEPs. About the proposal they offer, they work in different areas: - Skill Development: They will work to develop their skills in campaigns management, developing their communication plans and building confidence in how to navigate the challenges of political life. -Networking: They’ll also get to meet other women who are starting out on their political journey and to share experiences and insights that will help equip them for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. - Support: They will complete the training with the tools and direction to take their next step on their political journey. They will endeavour to assist with any follow up support they may need and there will be plenty of opportunities to engage in follow on Master Classes and networking events.
