Abstract:
Brave Women in Action is a dynamic, three-month entrepreneurship and personal development program aimed at empowering 30 women in Greece. Organized by Women Do Business, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and uplifting women entrepreneurs, the program focuses on equipping participants with the tools, skills, and network they need to start or grow their own businesses. It follows a structured model built on the pillars of Empowerment, Leadership, and Implementation, fostering both personal growth and business acumen. Targeted at women who either have a business idea or are looking to expand an existing venture, the program aims to develop leadership qualities and cultivate the knowledge necessary to successfully navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship. Brave Women in Action helps participants enhance essential skills in areas such as business development, marketing, finance, and legal frameworks. The program also offers tailored mentoring and professional guidance from experts in these fields, providing a strong foundation for sustainable business growth. In addition to personalized business support, Brave Women in Action emphasizes the importance of networking. Participants join a community of like-minded women from Crete and across Greece, offering them opportunities to share resources, experiences, and support. The program offers remote access to seminars covering a broad range of topics, including personal development, leadership, digital skills, and practical business strategies. This approach ensures that women, regardless of their location, can engage fully in the learning process and apply these insights to their entrepreneurial journeys. The initiative is held annually, with an open call for applications promoted through Women Do Business's social media platforms.
