Abstract:
The project intends to promote women's entrepreneurship in Cyprus, Greece, and Italy. The project was implemented by the Cyprus Interaction Lab at the Cyprus University of Technology, in collaboration with partners from the three countries. The WeMe project (2014-2015) provided training and mentorship to women entrepreneurs, with a focus on developing their skills in digital innovation and technology. The project also aims to connect women entrepreneurs with potential investors and business partners, and to create a supportive network for women entrepreneurs in the region. It is, therefore, an initiative designed to promote women’s economic power. The WeMe project offered several activities and initiatives to support women's entrepreneurship, including: Training and capacity-building (it provides training and capacity-building activities to help women entrepreneurs develop their skills in digital innovation, business development, and financial management); Mentorship and coaching (it offers one-on-one mentorship and coaching sessions to women entrepreneurs, providing guidance and support as they start and grow their businesses); Networking and community building (it aims to create a supportive community for women entrepreneurs, providing opportunities for networking and collaboration); Access to funding and resources (it provides access to funding and other resources to help women entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses).
