Abstract:

Following its first part on political parity at the local level, the High Council for Equality between Women and Men (HCE) therefore draws up an inventory of parity at the national level, not only by questioning the distribution of positions and skills, but also on the impact of "non-parity" on the conditions of exercise of power and on public decision-making. This report focuses on: - Establish margins for progress in quantitative and qualitative parity at the national level; - To analyse the obstacles and resistance to women's entry into politics; - Make recommendations to achieve parity and equality in power.
