Abstract:
It is a research on female leadership, focusing on various aspects, such as what types of roles or jobs are best suited for men and women, which attitudes do people have towards women in leader roles, how could diversity be managed in organizations and good practices and valuable lessons from abroad. to make visible the female economic power situation and to propose changes to enhance. Can be concluded that the topic has not been sufficiently researched yet. In addition it found that there are two prevailing myths about women in executive positions: women don’t want to become managers, and women don’t have the same managerial skills as men109. In the survey of 836 participants 83% disagreed with the statement that women do not like power positions, and 51% disagreed that women lack leadership skills. More than half (56%) agreed that management positions take women away from their family. Only 2% agreed that Romanian society treats men and women correctly and equally.
