Abstract:
This Mentoring-Programm is an initiative promoted by FIM (Vereinigung für Frauen in Management), liked to the dimension of economic power of women, aiming to support women in their professional development and advancement into leadership positions. On the website, it is not possible to understand since when the program is in operation. The program is designed to help women overcome the challenges they may face in male-dominated industries and to help them navigate their way into leadership positions. It is open to women who have already gained some professional experience and are looking to progress in their careers. The program pairs mentees with experienced mentors who are established leaders in their field. The mentors provide guidance, support, and advice to their mentees on topics such as career planning, networking, leadership skills, and work-life balance. The program also includes group workshops and networking events to help participants build their professional networks and develop their skills. FIM and its initiatives are supported by its members, sponsors, and partners (such as Daimler AG, Deutsche Bank AG, E.ON SE, Siemens AG, and the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women, and Youth).
