Does it still make sense to talk about female leadership? Or in a changing and constantly evolving world, does rigid classification risk being a trivial stereotype within a stereotype? The book aims to explore the relationship between women and management. A journey across the peninsula which, with a deductive approach, investigates the exemplary stories of 10 women entrepreneurs and managers, protagonists of the country's industrial history. A story through different generations that manages to outline the script of successful management and its transformation over the years. With the aim of re-creating a clear and punctual picture of female management. Indicating the essential aspects to consider in the development of each strategy. A clear picture emerges. Before being a man or woman, the leader is a person with his or her own peculiarities. Competence, commitment, sacrifice and determination are essential requirements that go beyond the boundaries of gender, from which it is necessary to draw inspiration for any professional affirmation. But if it is true that leadership has no gender, it is equally undeniable that women, alongside "universal requirements", can count on values more typical of the female world: empathy, listening, the ability to create cohesive teams. Prerogatives exercised in an authoritative and non-authoritative way, capable of including diversities and valuing differences with a natural attention to sustainability issues. By fielding an effective and absolutely modern leadership, already projected into the future.
