Abstract:
This article tries to answer on question "Why do young women dominate Finnish politics?". This is a result of long-standing efforts to include more women in leadership. Finland’s new government entered the history books last December by appointing the world’s youngest serving prime minister, thirty-four-year-old Social Democrat Sanna Marin. This can serve as an example of good practice when women hold important political positions.
