Abstract:
Women's Employment Information Center is a public organization dedicated to promoting equal opportunities for women across various sectors of life, with a specific focus on employment, leadership, and political participation. For the past 29 years, the Center has actively supported women through project-based activities that aim to tackle the challenges of business creation and development, training women politicians and leaders, and advocating for policies that promote gender equality. The organization plays a pivotal role in preparing women for leadership roles by influencing policy and ensuring favorable laws are passed to support gender equality. One of its key initiatives is to increase the number of women candidates in local elections, thereby contributing to gender balance in political representation. This effort emphasizes that gender balance in decision-making bodies is essential not only for political change but also for the social well-being of all groups within society. The Center has also been instrumental in the development and implementation of measures that ensure equality between men and women, aligning its work with the State Program for Equal Opportunities for Women and Men (2015-2021). This program has served as a framework for national action on gender equality, covering areas such as employment, leadership, and political participation. Through its extensive network and targeted initiatives, the Women's Employment Information Center continues to drive systemic change toward a more inclusive and balanced society by empowering women and ensuring their equal representation in leadership and decision-making roles.
