Abstract:
Son Executiva is a galician project financed by Xunta de Galicia with the objective of promoting female leadership in the professional field. In fact, it is a training programme in Leadership, Creativity and Female Empowerment in two training levels, where the difference lies in the experience and professional situation of the recipients of the training. Level 1 is intended for women with some managerial position and professional experience or active entrepreneurs as self-employed or carrying out management tasks in a small or medium-sized company; and level 2 is aimed at women who have recently graduated from university or in vocational training, with a high-profile profile. qualification, who wish to access intermediate positions in companies, guide their professional career or start their own project. So that, the program is aimed at 400 Galician women, or with a work center in Galicia, with some managerial position and professional experience or active businesswomen, as self-employed or who develop management responsibilities in a small or medium-sized company, or recent university graduates or in FP, with a highly qualified profile, who wish to access intermediate positions in companies, guide their professional career or start their own project. There are also specific objectives, related to improve the knowledge of executive management and promote the female leadership of Galician women, in a way that allows them to access management positions and senior management of companies. Futhermore, it intends to contribute on the participation of women in positions of greater responsibility in Galician companies, promoting diversity in the strategic decision-making of organizations. For that, they pretend to encourage women to be the protagonists of their own development and to achieve their professional goals. Gain knowledge and skills in leadership, creativity and female empowerment through advanced level training. Besides, it wants to contribute to the opening and closing days of the programme, in which high-impact dynamics will be developed, for the promotion of learning in an emotional way through lived experience, leaving a mark on the participants that drives change. An also to ontribute with individual coaching sessions to improve the self-knowledge of Galician professionals, their management skills and abilities, achieving a personalized development program for each of the participants according to their circumstances. For all of this, they make participants aware of their role in their own development and ability to achieve their professional goals.
