Abstract:
Ellas Vuellan Altto is an Association that aims the consolidation of the visibility of women in the aerospace sector in Spain, covering the political, academic, business and administration spheres, based on the vision of equality of the Carta Magna of the United Nations. The Association organizes diferent activities (Debates, Meetings, Workshops, Conferences, Publications) with the following objectives: to develop projects that give visibility to women and recognition of their skills; to work towards equality between women and men, in an inclusive manner and for the benefit of common social and economic development; to eliminate any kind of discrimination against women; to encourage the creation of women's networks in companies in the aerospace sector; to promote aerospace professions among new generations of girls and young women, encouraging them to set up their own projects. For instance, in 2023 the Association develloped the "ENTREPRENEUR IN FEMALE" event, a round table in which they analyzed the challenges that women face when they want to start a business, the opportunities offered by the aerospace sector for women and what are the keys to motivate the entrepreneurial side among professionals. In summary, they pretend to increase the participation of women in public and professional life and to develop projects that provide visibility to women and recognition of their skills, in the Aerospace Sector in Spain. . Therefore, they work in favor of equality between women and men, in an inclusive manner and for the benefit of common social and economic development, to eliminate any type of discrimination against women, encouraging the creation of women's networks in companies and professions in the aerospace sector, specially among the new generations of girls and young women.
