  • Abstract:

The primary aim of this initiative is to promote gender equality within the governing bodies of ICADE. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, ICADE has committed to enhancing gender diversity within its leadership. The company has set an objective to gradually increase the representation of women across all levels of the organization. This goal is supported by strengthening internal policies to ensure fair and regular processes, facilitating diversified and non-discriminatory representation throughout the company. A significant milestone in this effort was the conclusion of a second agreement on professional equality between women and men on September 7, 2020, valid for three years. In 2021, ICADE achieved an outstanding overall score of 99/100 for gender equality and the promotion of gender balance and diversity. This score, assessed by the Ministry of Labor and the Secretariat for Equality between Women and Men, evaluates progress through five objective indicators: pay gaps, individual increases, promotions, increases upon return from maternity leave, and the gender distribution of the ten highest-paid employees. Corrective actions are implemented as needed based on these evaluations. The "Rixain" law of December 24, 2021, mandates balanced gender representation among senior executives and members of governing bodies in large companies. ICADE has already met the targets established for 2026 and 2029 for these positions. The target group for this initiative is the women employees at ICADE. Key outputs include the professional equality agreement concluded on September 7, 2020, and achieving an overall score of 99/100 in gender equality metrics. As of September 2022, women constitute 50% of the governing bodies within ICADE, with 40% representation on the Board of Directors and 50% on the Executive Board. This comprehensive approach underscores ICADE's commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that promotes gender equality at all organizational levels.
