  • Website: https://www.gecina.fr/fr/
  • Abstract:

Gecina has demonstrated a robust commitment to gender diversity, achieving significant representation of women across its leadership structures. Women comprise over 45% of the Executive Committee (5 out of 11 members) and 35% of the Management Committee, with 46.3% of female "line managers" executives. This focus on gender parity is a cornerstone of Gecina's Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, a long-term policy that has been in place since 2011. Gecina's commitment to gender equality has been actualized through various concrete measures, particularly during the recruitment phase, to ensure professional equality. In 2016, Gecina established the “Open Your I” diversity network, which operates under a joint office and focuses on three main areas: combating career development stereotypes, promoting work-life balance, and supporting female entrepreneurship. Additionally, Gecina participates in the Closing the Gender Gap initiative led by the World Economic Forum, endorsed by the President of the Republic. Through this initiative, Gecina leverages its expertise and best practices to contribute to the development and implementation of a three-year action plan aimed at reducing gender disparities across various domains. The target groups for these initiatives are all male and female employees of Gecina. Key activities include the "Open Your I" diversity network and task force, as well as participation in the Closing the Gender Gap program. Gecina's strategy is to maintain its recognition as a leading company in the feminization of management bodies within SBF 120 listed groups, as reflected in the Ethics and Boards ranking. By continuing to prioritize gender parity, Gecina aims to foster an inclusive and equitable work environment that supports the professional growth of all its employees.
